Overview: The Green Course at The Golden Horseshoe Golf Club is a public Rees Jones layout in Williamsburg, Virginia. It uses 250 acres of mature woodland, varied terrain and water on six holes to create a resort course with a clear championship focus.
History: The Green Course opened in 1991 as the second major routing at Colonial Williamsburg's Golden Horseshoe. Rees Jones drew on his father Robert Trent Jones Sr.'s nearby Gold Course while creating a separate course for the property.
Did You Know? The Green Course was the venue for the 1998 USGA Senior Women's Amateur Championship. Its official course page lists 7,120 yards and par 72 from the championship tees.
