The Forest Country Club (Bobcat)

Overview: The Bobcat is the companion course to the Bear at The Forest Country Club in Fort Myers. The club describes both as walkable layouts with distinctly different challenges, and its golf page identifies Bobcat as one of the property’s two courses. The current official page does not publish a par, yardage, architect or opening year for Bobcat, so those fields remain blank.

History: The Forest has continued to invest in its two-course complex, with renovation planning and course work documented by the club and golf architecture coverage. The sources reviewed do not establish the original opening year of Bobcat, so the profile keeps that field unassigned.

Did You Know? Bobcat is not simply a second tee set on the Bear. The club treats Bear and Bobcat as separate 18-hole courses, giving golfers two different walkable routings on the same Fort Myers property.
