The Estancia Club

Overview: The Estancia Club sits on the northern slope of Pinnacle Peak in Scottsdale, Arizona, where Tom Fazio shaped a private desert course around granite outcrops, mountain slopes and native Sonoran vegetation. Strategic lines, elevation changes and rock-framed greens define its relationship with the desert site.

History: Estancia opened in 1995 on 640 acres after a long planning and approval process. Tom Fazio was selected to design the course, with construction beginning in 1995 and member play commencing later that year.

Did You Know? Estancia's development story began with Jerry Nelson's work to secure water in the Pinnacle Peak area. The golf course was then planned alongside a residential community at the base of the landmark peak.
