Overview: The Club at Longview is a private Jack Nicklaus Signature Course in Weddington, south of Charlotte. Nicklaus Design describes a wooded, gently rolling setting with ponds, creeks and old oaks, giving the course a natural backdrop within the Longview community.
History: The course opened in 2003 as the first Jack Nicklaus Signature Course in the Charlotte region. Longview later hosted the Web.com Tour's Chiquita Classic, putting the private course into the professional tournament record without changing its member-focused access.
Did You Know? Longview's mature old oaks are specifically highlighted by Nicklaus Design. The course is therefore more than a generic suburban layout, with the existing trees, creeks and ponds serving as documented parts of its setting.
