The Club at Carlton Woods Creekside (Fazio)

Overview: The Fazio Course at Carlton Woods Creekside is a private Tom Fazio championship layout in The Woodlands. Its 18 holes move across rolling ground and creekside property, using large green complexes, shaped bunkers and changing approach angles to create a demanding but polished test. The course measures 7,358 yards at par 72 from the championship setup.

History: The Fazio course debuted in 2005 in the Carlton Woods Creekside community and was quickly recognized as one of the best new private courses in Texas and the United States. It is separate from the Jack Nicklaus Signature Course at Sterling Ridge, a distinct 2001 routing at the same club.

Did You Know? Carlton Woods contains two separate 18-hole routings by two of golf’s most recognizable design names: Tom Fazio at Creekside and Jack Nicklaus at Sterling Ridge. Keeping those layouts distinct is essential, because their separate histories and championship setups are often combined in general descriptions of the club.
