The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards

Overview: The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards in Sunset, South Carolina, is a private mountain course designed by the legendary Tom Fazio. Set along the northern shores of Lake Keowee, the course features rolling fairways, dramatic elevation changes, and spectacular lake vistas.

History: Opened in 1999, the course was designed to take advantage of the dramatic mountain foothills and lake shoreline. Fazio routed the course to maximize water exposure, creating a series of scenic and strategic holes. In 2017, the bunkers and green complexes were modernized to ensure premium playing conditions.

Did You Know? The course features eight holes that play directly along or over Lake Keowee, including the signature par-three seventeenth hole where the green is surrounded on three sides by the lake.
