Overview: The Cliffs at Glassy is a private Tom Jackson course on a South Carolina mountaintop. Its 18-hole par 72 routing measures about 6,747 yards and uses dramatic elevation, narrow mountain corridors, and sloping green sites to create a course that is as much about the landform as the scorecard.
History: The course opened in 1993 as part of the Glassy Mountain community. Jackson's routing established a golf identity at high elevation, with the natural topography supplying much of the challenge and visual drama.
Did You Know? Glassy is described by the club as South Carolina's only true mountaintop course, with holes reaching above 3,000 feet and the signature 13th standing out as a major scenic point.
