Overview: The Abbey Course at Saint Leo is a short public 18-hole course near the university and abbey in St. Leo. Published course data identifies a Marion Bowman design with par 71 and a longest listed length of about 5,694 yards.
History: The course is documented as an older local layout dating to 1960 and is operated today by the Abbey Golf Course. In 2026 Saint Leo University publicly opposed proposed rezoning of the Abbey Golf Course property, so future operation should be checked before travel.
Did You Know? Published scorecards include unusual par information around the tenth hole, while the standard men’s scorecard totals par 71. That makes checking the current scorecard worthwhile instead of assuming a conventional par distribution.
