Overview: Temple Terrace is an historic private course east of Tampa, laid out along the Hillsborough River and the old orange-grove setting of the city. It has 18 holes at par 72, with tees ranging from roughly 5,400 to 6,400 yards.
History: Tom Bendelow designed and built the course in 1921, and it opened in 1922 during the Florida land boom. The club later became member-owned, and its connection with the former Riverhills property is central to its heritage.
Did You Know? The original routing used a figure-eight pattern with no parallel fairways. The club also records that Billy Graham decided on his career while meditating on the 18th green in 1939.
