Overview: In Marblehead, Wogan’s routing covers 18 holes at par 70 between former farmland and rocky woodland, with the longest tees reaching about 6,448 yards.
History: The club was organized around 1900 and incorporated in 1903, after an earlier six-hole seaside beginning at Phillips Beach. Wogan designed the relocated eighteen-hole course, while Donald Ross is credited with a discrete contribution to the twelfth hole.
Did You Know? Tedesco’s twelfth is the single hole generally associated with Donald Ross. The rest of the course is a Wogan design, making the club an unusual combination of a local architect’s routing and one famous Ross contribution.
