Overview: Tara is a private, member-owned Bradenton course built around mature landscaping, ponds and preserve edges. The community describes an 18-hole par-72 course of about 6,800 yards with seven tee sets.
History: Tara Golf and Country Club was established in 1989 as the first phase of the Tara community. The course and clubhouse were renovated in 2009, while the bundled community model still links golf membership to the surrounding residences.
Did You Know? Pond and preserve settings around the course attract many land and water birds. At Tara, the wildlife setting is part of the course identity rather than simply scenery between holes.
