Overview: The East routing at Ta Shee Golf & Country Club is the nine-hole Kingfisher loop within the club's 27-hole facility in Daxi, Taoyuan. Robert Trent Jones Jr. rebuilt Ta Shee in 1999, using the area's hilly terrain, ponds, sand and flowing contours. The official hole guide lists the East nine at par 36 and 3,750 yards from the professional tees, with men's and ladies' distances of 3,449 and 2,892 yards.
History: Ta Shee is organised into three nine-hole areas: East Kingfisher, Center Egret and West Babbler. The club's current English pages preserve the separate routings, while the official history records a major Robert Trent Jones Jr. reconstruction in 1999. This profile is for the directory's East nine only, not the full 18-hole combination or the other nine-hole areas.
Did You Know? The second hole on East is a downhill par three over a large pond, measuring 208 yards from the professional tee and 173 from the men's tee. The ninth is another par three, so the Kingfisher loop finishes with a second short hole rather than a par-five closer.
