Overview: Suwannee Country Club is the golf facility listed at 7932 US 90 in Live Oak, a North Florida club with a long local connection to the Suwannee area. The public record reviewed supports the location and historic-golf identity, but the directory’s 18-hole designation does not align with the Florida Historic Golf Trail entry.
History: The Florida Historic Golf Trail recognizes Suwannee Country Club as part of the state’s golf heritage. Because that source describes a different routing from the directory row, no opening year, par or yardage has been carried into the profile until the facility identity is reconciled.
Did You Know? Suwannee is included in Florida’s Historic Golf Trail, a statewide record that treats golf courses as part of the state’s cultural history rather than only as sporting venues. The routing discrepancy is worth resolving before publishing more specific scorecard claims.
