Overview: The Challenge Course at Suntree Country Club brings Robert Walker’s Arnold Palmer Design Company work to Melbourne’s native marshland. The club describes lush fairways, lakes and hazards that reward precise positioning.
History: The Challenge Course was developed in the mid-1980s as one of Suntree’s two championship layouts. It shares the club’s private 36-hole golf program with the Classic Course, but has its own Arnold Palmer Design Company identity.
Did You Know? The Challenge Course is carved from Florida’s native marshlands. That setting is not just scenic: it shapes the corridors, the water views and the strategic hazards that the club says define the course.
