Overview: Sunrise Country Club is an established South Florida parkland course in Sunrise, with a 6,668-yard back-tee layout shaped for member and visitor play. The mature setting and traditional routing give it a different feel from newer, water-dominated resort developments in the region.
History: Course records credit Bill Watts with the design and place the opening in 1960. The available source confirms the 18-hole routing and back-tee length, but does not state a dependable current par, so that field is left null.
Did You Know? Sunrise’s course history reaches back to the early growth of Broward County golf. A 1960 opening makes it an older local layout than many of the residential clubs that now surround it, even though its current profile is relatively low-key.
