Overview: Sunnybrook Golf Club presents an 18-hole private layout in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania. The present layout was designed by William Gordon and his son David on a 135-acre site, with tree-lined holes, streams and shaped green complexes forming a traditional Philadelphia-area setting.
History: Sunnybrook was incorporated in 1914 and its original Donald Ross course occupied the Flourtown site. Route construction forced a move, and the current course was first played on June 16, 1956. In 2007, McDonald and Sons upgraded all eighteen greens using Gordon’s original schematics.
Did You Know? Sunnybrook’s original course included holes that crossed and followed the stream for which the club was named, while the current layout preserves the club’s longer architectural story at a different site.
