Overview: Sunbrook’s Point/Woodbridge combination is a public 18-hole routing in St. George, Utah, where desert edges meet mature cottonwoods and water channels. The Point moves through exposed ledges and open desert, while Woodbridge brings a greener corridor with river and creek influence. Playing both nines makes the course feel like a deliberate contrast between desert strategy and shaded parkland golf.
History: Sunbrook opened in 1990 with The Point and Woodbridge nines designed by Ted Robinson. A third nine, Lava Rock, was added in 1995 by John Harbottle. The ranked Point/Woodbridge routing therefore represents Robinson’s original 18-hole course, not the later nine-hole addition.
Did You Know? Woodbridge takes its name from the wooden bridge on the fifth hole. That hole also brings the Virgin River into the drive and approach decisions, while the preceding par-three uses an island green to create a different kind of water challenge.
