Overview: Deer Run gives Sebring golfers an 18-hole public layout shaped by Don Dyer. The operator describes long holes, Bermuda turf and a traditional challenge for players who want a full-length round.
History: Deer Run opened in 1976 as the first of Sun ’n Lake’s two 18-hole courses. The Sebring golf trail describes Deer Run as the earlier course, later joined by Turtle Run in 1999.
Did You Know? The course has hosted local and national tournaments, according to the operator. Deer Run is also the more forgiving of Sun ’n Lake’s two courses, while Turtle Run is described as the tighter, more accuracy-focused layout.
