Overview: Stuttgarter Golf-Club Solitude is a parkland course located in Mönsheim. The layout features rolling terrain, narrow fairways lined with mature deciduous trees, and elevated greens protected by bunkers.
History: Founded in 1927, the club opened its current championship course in Mönsheim in 1969, designed by Bernhard von Limburger. The course was renovated by Thomas Himmel in the mid-2000s to modernize the strategic design.
Did You Know? The club is named after the nearby historic Solitude Palace in Stuttgart. The course is routed in a loop that ensures the wind direction changes relative to the player on almost every hole.
