Overview: Streamsong Blue is Tom Doak's inland links course across the former phosphate-mining landscape near Bowling Green. Its fairways are more open than a typical Florida resort course, but the large, sharply contoured greens and exposed sandy ground make the approach game demanding. The course invites ground shots and creative recoveries, while its elevation and wind create a constantly changing set of angles.
History: Streamsong Blue entered play in 2012 with the Red Course, giving the resort two contrasting design philosophies from the start. Doak used the mine spoils, lakes, and open terrain as the framework for a course that feels more like a links landscape than a tropical parkland property. The later Black Course added a third distinct architectural voice to the resort.
Did You Know? The seventh hole is a par three over water and is paired visually with the Red Course's 16th. The sister-hole relationship is a small architectural conversation between the two original courses.
