Overview: Stonewall’s Old Course is a private, walking-focused layout in Elverson, Pennsylvania. Tom Doak and Renaissance Golf shaped the course through rolling farmland and wooded edges, using demanding driving lines and detailed green approaches to give the round a distinctly strategic character. The setting is open enough for changing views, yet the holes remain closely tied to the natural folds of the property.
History: The Old Course opened in July 1993. Stonewall’s North Course followed in 2003, and the two routings are both associated with Tom Doak and Renaissance Golf. The Old Course has since hosted Pennsylvania Open, Philadelphia Amateur and Philadelphia Open events.
Did You Know? Stonewall’s founders made walking part of the Old Course’s identity from the start. The course is also known for its stonework, with local stone used around tees, paths and water features to connect the built details to the Pennsylvania landscape.
