Overview: Stonebridge Country Club is a private Tom Fazio course in Aurora, Illinois, set across 168 acres of rolling ground with mature oaks, lakes and streams. The par-72 layout uses the natural terrain for changing sightlines and a broad range of approach angles.
History: Stonebridge was established in 1989 with an 18-hole Tom Fazio course at its center. The club’s western-suburban setting and resort-style clubhouse were planned around the golf landscape rather than added to an older course.
Did You Know? The club describes Stonebridge as the only private Tom Fazio-designed course in Chicago’s western suburbs, a useful distinction within the region’s dense golf market.
