Overview: Perched on the slopes of the Dublin Mountains in Rathfarnham, Stackstown Golf Club is a spectacular and highly technical parkland course. Originally founded as a club for members of the Garda Síochána (Irish Police), the layout has matured into a premier championship venue famous for its dramatic elevation changes. Characterized by its narrow fairways and several holes that play directly up and down steep mountain slopes, Stackstown offers a visceral and physically engaging round with bird's-eye views of Dublin city.
Did You Know? Stackstown is famously the home club of three-time Major Champion Padraig Harrington. The course's unyielding topography and its technical green complexes are often credited with helping Harrington develop the exceptional creative recovery skills and short-game precision that led to his Open and PGA Championship victories, and the club remains a central hub for elite amateur golf training in the capital.
