Overview: Located in Lohja, Finland, the Kalkki-Petteri Course at St. Laurence Golf is an 18-hole parkland and woodland layout. Winding through dense pine forests and open, rolling agricultural fields, the course features wide fairways bordered by deep natural ravines, extensive water hazards, and large, subtly contoured greens. The course demands accurate ball placement off the tee to navigate the mature trees and strategic distance control.
History: Opened in the early 1990s as the first championship venue at the massive 36-hole St. Laurence complex, Kalkki-Petteri was built to establish a premier competitive venue in the Uusimaa region. The facility has hosted multiple Finnish national championships and is highly regarded for its excellent conditioning.
Did You Know? The course is built directly adjacent to an active, massive limestone mining operation. The name "Kalkki-Petteri" translates to "Limestone Pete," honoring the deep industrial history of the region that heavily influences the local geography.
