Overview: East/South is the longest of the Spanish Wells combination routings in the available scorecard records, playing to par 72 and 6,799 yards. Bruce Howard's East nine and Gordon Lewis's South nine run through a Bonita Springs parkland setting of palms, lakes and residential landscape.
History: Spanish Wells developed as a 27-hole country club around 1980, and its three nines are intentionally combined into different 18-hole courses. East/South is therefore a current routing within the club's wider 27-hole system, not a separate new construction with its own clubhouse or operating identity.
Did You Know? The club's three-nine format means East/South can be rotated with East/North and South/North as maintenance or playing conditions require. The result is a course where the pairing of the nines is part of the daily golf identity, not just a naming detail.
