Soleta Golf Club

Overview: Soleta is a private 18-hole course in Myakka City, designed by Nick Price across a setting of native terrain, pastures, live oaks and saw palmetto. The course reaches about 7,400 yards and plays to par 72, while wetlands and preserved habitat remain visible parts of the architecture rather than background decoration.

History: Soleta officially opened in December 2024 as the golf centerpiece of a new private club and community. Nick Price led the design, with David Leadbetter consulted on the practice environment. The project's emphasis on low-density land and environmental sensitivity is central to the club's current identity.

Did You Know? Soleta's own environmental information says about 130 acres of the property are preserved, while roughly two miles of the Myakka River border the wider setting. That combination makes the course unusual even within Florida's nature-oriented golf landscape.
