Overview: On Sire Bay in West Lombok, Sire Beach Golf Club combines a coastal front nine with a mountain-facing back nine. The current course site describes an 18-hole, par-72 layout by Peter Thomson, Michael Wolveridge and Ross Perrett, with the sea beside the early holes and views inland toward Mount Rinjani later in the round. Published tee totals vary, from about 6,245 to 6,295 metres, so yardage remains null rather than disguising different scorecard references as one number. The course is an active visitor destination near the island's northern resort area.
History: The course was previously known as Lombok Golf Kosaido Country Club and is now presented as Sire Beach Golf Club. Current APLGI and operator-side material treat those names as the same Sire Bay routing, not separate courses. The reviewed course reference dates the 18-hole establishment to 2001, while current golf pages continue to publish rates, memberships and course information at the Sire Beach address. The name change is therefore recorded as an identity history point, not a new opening.
Did You Know? Sire Beach changes direction as the round progresses. Holes 1 through 9 face the sea, with the fourth close to the white-sand beach, while holes 10 through 18 turn toward Lombok's mountains. The twelfth is a par-five measuring about 540 metres in the published course material, a long inland test after the coastal opening holes. It is an unusually clear example of a routing that links beach wind and highland scenery in one scorecard.
