Overview: Sierra Golf Club is a park-style course near Wejherowo on Poland's Baltic coast, where broad green corridors are framed by a remarkable planting scheme. Cameron Sinclair's 18-hole layout moves through a landscape of more than 11,000 trees, shrubs and flowers, giving the course a changing seasonal character as well as a varied playing rhythm. The official course information describes a tournament-class par-72 course with differing levels of difficulty and landscape, and that variety is the main attraction: the round alternates between open views, wooded definition and carefully maintained green complexes.
History: Sierra was established in Wejherowo in 2002 and designed by Scottish architect Cameron Sinclair. The resort has developed as a continuing project rather than a static installation, with the landscape maturing around the fairways and the golf infrastructure expanding to support tournament play and practice. Sierra also hosted European senior team championship golf, bringing an international competitive dimension to the course's Polish story.
Did You Know? Sierra's identity is unusually botanical for a championship course. The club counts more than 11,000 trees, shrubs and flowers across the property, and its own description emphasises how the course changes with the seasons. The same holes can therefore present a noticeably different visual frame as the planting moves from spring colour to summer density and autumn tones.
