Overview: Sherwood Park Golf Course is a former Delray Beach golf property associated with the Sherwood Forest neighborhood. The directory record describes an 18-hole course, but current evidence indicates that the golf operation is closed and that the property is no longer an active visitor course. Current playing specifications are therefore not presented.
History: City planning documents trace the course to a development built around 1960 and describe it as an executive course in later records. The neighborhood and city debated the property's future after golf operations ended, making the historical course identity more useful than copying an old par, yardage or fee into a current profile.
Did You Know? The site's development documents included restrictions concerning golf and clubhouse use, reflecting how closely the course was tied to the surrounding residential community. That legal history helps explain why Sherwood Park still appears in golf directories even though the former course is no longer an active layout.
