Shell Bay Club

Overview: Shell Bay Club occupies the former Diplomat golf site in Hallandale Beach and now presents an 18-hole Greg Norman course of about 7,254 yards. The new routing uses a coastal South Florida setting, sandbelt-style bunkering and water near the Intracoastal landscape. A separate nine-hole par-3 course gives the private club a second, shorter golf experience.

History: The current 18-hole layout was completed in 2023 as part of the Shell Bay Club development. Greg Norman shaped the course, while the property and club were assembled around the former Diplomat course land. The result is a new routing rather than a simple name change to the old course.

Did You Know? Shell Bay's short course includes template-inspired holes described as a Punchbowl, a Redan and a Double Plateau. Those features give the nine-hole course its own architectural identity instead of making it merely a scaled-down warm-up loop.
