Overview: Shaker Hills Country Club is a public 18-hole course in Harvard, Massachusetts, known for rolling ground, broad views and imaginative tee and green settings. Brian Silva and Mark Mungeam’s design is presented today as a renovated New England layout with a strong visual relationship to the clubhouse and practice ground.
History: The course was created in the early 1990s and later underwent a major renovation led by new owner Fred Curtis Jr. in 2012. That work relocated the practice area, rebuilt the closing hole as a par five and changed the course from par 71 to par 72.
Did You Know? Shaker Hills includes a turf-covered rooftop tee, giving golfers an elevated view over the course. The feature is part of the later renovation story rather than an original natural landform.
