Shadow Wood Country Club (North)

Overview: Shadow Wood North is one of the two 18-hole country-club courses in the Shadow Wood community near Estero. The current club information lists a par 72 layout of 7,116 yards, with rolling fairways, water and wooded preserves. Its parkland setting is paired with the careful shaping and green-complex emphasis of the recent renovation.

History: Bob Cupp created the original North Course, and Rees Jones with Bryce Swanson led a major redesign completed in 2017. The club's current material places North, South and Preserve together as a 54-hole private golf program, while the exact opening year of this individual routing is not published consistently enough to record.

Did You Know? Shadow Wood's North and South courses are part of an Audubon-oriented club environment, and the property has more than 70 acres of golf-side lakes, waterways and wooded areas. That conservation-minded landscape is a defining part of the North Course experience.
