Overview: Sentul Highlands Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 parkland course in the Sentul City area of Bogor, West Java. The official club identifies Gary Player as designer and says the course opened in 1997. Current scorecard data lists 6,538 metres from the black tees, approximately 7,150 yards, with shorter blue, white, yellow and red options. The routing uses rolling highland ground and broad mountain views, while its position near the foothills gives the course a more elevated setting than the flatter Jakarta courses.
History: Sentul Highlands was created as part of the Bukit Sentul/Sentul City development and remains at the Sumur Batu address in Babakan Madang. Older golf references also record the former name Mentari Golf Bukit Sentul, linking that name to the same Gary Player routing rather than to a separate course. The official site and current course records agree on the 1997 opening, 18 holes, par 72 and Gary Player authorship.
Did You Know? Hole 12 is the course's signature par three. The official site gives it as 126 metres and describes a green framed by boulders and bunkers, making the hole's natural rock work part of its identity. The APLGI course profile also singles out the par-five 11th and 17th as notable holes. Together they show how Sentul Highlands mixes compact target golf with longer holes where positioning matters.
