Overview: The Muni offers 18 public holes at par 72, with four tee sets ranging to about 6,200 yards, using traditional Florida parkland, lake views and a walkable layout.
History: The city selected 160 acres in 1924, William Herbert 'Bert' Way laid out the course in 1925 and A.D. Taylor supervised construction. A partial layout was played during construction, and the complete 18-hole course opened in 1929; the course is now part of the Florida Historic Golf Trail.
Did You Know? Sebring's first official 18-hole opening in 1929 stretched to 6,357 yards, longer than the current back-tee yardage recorded in the historic course account.
