Overview: Seasons Eco Golf Estate The full routing is an 18-hole par-72 test bushveld course west of Pretoria, set among open grassland, trees and the wide skies of the North West. The course measures about 6,182 metres and offers an estate round that is more about using the ground and keeping the ball in position than overpowering every hole. The natural setting, warm climate and accessible layout make it a practical destination for golfers looking beyond central Gauteng.
History: The club began as Brits Golf Club with a nine-hole course in 1977. It expanded to 18 holes in 1990 and later became part of Seasons Eco Golf Estate. Peter Matkovich and Dale Hayes are credited with the current design work, while the estate has developed the course into a broader lifestyle destination without losing the local club history behind it.
Did You Know? The course’s former name survives in its history even though the modern estate has a different identity. That link matters because it explains why Seasons feels like both a residential golf destination and a long-established local club that has grown into a larger landscape.
