Overview: The Bad Little Nine at Scottsdale National is perhaps the most famous par-3 course in the world, known for its extreme challenge and whimsical design. Part of the ultra-exclusive Scottsdale National Golf Club owned by Bob Parsons, this 9-hole layout features wildly undulating greens, massive bunkers, and forced carries that would be daunting on a championship course. Despite its short length, it is designed to be "bad" in the best way possible—punishing mistakes with creative hazards while rewarding precise wedge play in a fun, high-stakes environment.
Did You Know? The course is often played under the lights for "The Mine Shaft" events, and its green complexes are so extreme that it is not uncommon for professional golfers to struggle to break par on this sub-1,000-yard layout.
