Overview: Schuyler Meadows Club is a private Loudonville course on rolling Capital Region parkland. Devereux Emmet's layout uses tree-lined holes, bunkers and elevated green sites to create a traditional par-72 test with a clear relationship between the land and the playing lines.
History: The club was founded in 1926 and the 18-hole course was completed in 1927 under Devereux Emmet's design. A later long-range plan by Gil Hanse continued the club's effort to preserve and refine the course rather than replace its historic structure.
Did You Know? Schuyler Meadows has hosted New York State championship events. That record reflects the course's role as a serious competitive venue in the Albany area, not just a private social club.
