Overview: Säters Golfklubb is a woodland course beside Lake Ljustern, with rolling ground and a reported elevation difference of about 50 metres. The layout rewards accurate, controlled play as much as raw length.
History: The club was founded in 1984 and the 18-hole course was unveiled in 1990. Sune Linde is credited with the design, which places the course in a distinct tradition of Swedish natural-terrain architecture.
Did You Know? The municipality describes Säters as a course where technique matters more than distance, a fitting summary for a layout whose terrain supplies much of the challenge.
