Overview: Lake and Creek form an 18-hole Sand Creek pairing with par 72, using waterways, wetlands, and Lake Michigan wind in the Chesterton setting.
History: Sand Creek began as a multi-nine facility, with the original Creek and Lake nines credited to Ken Killian and Dick Nugent. The Marsh nine opened in spring 1995, while the club continues to rotate the three nines into eighteen-hole combinations.
Did You Know? The course is close enough to Lake Michigan for its winds to affect club selection. On the Lake nine, the finishing hole also asks players to decide how much of Lake Morgan they want to challenge on the approach.
