History: The Old Course was created in 1990 and underwent a substantial renovation before reopening in June 2021. It hosted the Spanish Open in 2005 and European Tour Qualifying School finals from 1993 to 2007, giving it a long tournament connection.
Did You Know? The course reopened after renovation with Dave Thomas's character still central to the routing. Its bunkers reflect later work associated with Seve Ballesteros, combining two generations of Spanish golf design influence.
