Samsun Golf Club

Overview: Samsun Golf Club is a unique and groundbreaking municipal course located on the Black Sea coast of Turkey. It holds the distinction of being the first golf course in the world built entirely on land reclaimed from the sea, offering a distinctive links-inspired experience. Designed by Kevin Ramsey of Golfplan, the layout features undulating fairways, strategic bunkering, and large greens that are exposed to the coastal winds. It is a testament to engineering and design, providing a high-quality golfing experience in a region where the sport was previously unknown.

Did You Know? The project was a significant initiative by the local municipality to promote tourism and sports in the Samsun region, and it remains one of the few high-quality public golf facilities in Turkey.
