Overview: Salish Cliffs is a Squaxin Island Tribal-owned resort course near Shelton. Gene Bates's par-72 layout reaches 7,269 yards and uses 600 feet of elevation change, dense forest, bentgrass playing surfaces and frequent uphill and downhill shots to create its character.
History: Salish Cliffs held its grand opening in September 2011 as part of the Little Creek Casino Resort. The course's design preserves a secluded forest setting, and the club later received Salmon-Safe certification in 2012.
Did You Know? Salish Cliffs says holes 9 and 18 share a 15,000-square-foot double green, with a lake and wetland preserve separating the two putting surfaces.
