Overview: Ruby Tree Golf Resort is a coastal course in Do Son, Hai Phong, where the sea lies to the east and the Dragon Mountain range rises behind the property. Pacific Coast Design is credited with the course, and current official material lists 18 holes, par 72 and 6,836 metres, equivalent to approximately 7,476 yards. The layout uses the meeting of sea, hills and water to create its character. Natural-looking hazards follow the terrain, while the coastal air and changing horizon give the course a more open feel than an inland parkland routing. Its setting makes it a natural golf stop for visitors combining Hai Phong with the Do Son resort area.
History: Ruby Tree is the current identity of the Do Son seaside golf development, and official BRG material presents the course as part of a broader coastal resort and villa destination. The public factsheet and current course pages document the design, dimensions and relationship with Dragon Mountain, but do not establish one dependable opening year. Keeping the year blank is therefore more accurate than borrowing a date from an older award or project milestone. The course's history is best represented by the continuity of the Do Son golf destination and its current BRG operation.
Did You Know? The older Do Son factsheet records the 18th hole as having been voted Vietnam's Best Par 5 for 2010–2011 by readers of Vietnam Golf Magazine. That is a historical accolade rather than a current ranking claim, but it shows that the finishing hole was already part of the course's public identity well before the present Ruby Tree branding.
