Overview: Designed by Laurie Waters, the West Course at Royal Johannesburg & Kensington is a private parkland course. Winding through suburban woodlands, the course features narrow fairways and well-protected greens.

History: Opened in 1927, the West Course was designed to complement the club's older layout. It has hosted several national championships and underwent a major modernization in the early 2000s.
