Overview: The Rockledge historic layout covers 18 holes and has a current par of 71, reaching about 6,400 yards. Its traditional parkland setting includes wetlands, water features, mature oaks, pines and historic palms, with five tee sets for different players.
History: The Florida Department of State records that the club organized in 1924, started with an original nine in 1925 and completed the 18-hole course in January 1936 using Federal Emergency Relief Administration labor. George Wilson is credited with laying out and building the original course, while the club remains a long-running private facility.
Did You Know? Rockledge is part of Florida's Historic Golf Trail, and the official course tour identifies the 17th as a picturesque par 3 with water along the right and in front of the green.
