Overview: Riverside Golf Club offers an 18-hole routing that plays to par 72 designed by Greg Norman along the Cikeas River in Cimanggis and Gunung Putri, Bogor. The official club describes about 90 hectares of natural greenery, while current course information lists 6,845 yards from the back tees, with shorter championship and front-tee options. Valley contours, tropical trees, sharp doglegs and river crossings give the course a more rugged character than a flat urban layout. Its position around 45 minutes from central Jakarta makes it a strong Greater Jakarta golf destination.
History: Current course information dates Riverside's opening to 1994 and identifies it as one of Greg Norman's Indonesian designs. The course was built around the Cikeas River and the existing tropical landscape, with the river corridor becoming both a visual boundary and a playing hazard. The official club still places the course at the Cikeas-side Cimanggis property, matching the directory's Cibubur and Bogor location rather than a different Riverside-named club.
Did You Know? The par-3 14th is Riverside's signature hole: an elevated shot crosses a ravine and the Cikeas River toward a green above the waterline, with bunkers and trees around the target. Current course information also notes that three of the four par threes require water carries. That makes the river more than a scenic thread through the property; it repeatedly changes the risk calculation on otherwise different holes.
