River Landing Country Club (Landing)

Overview: The Landing Course at River Landing is a private Clyde Johnston course in Wallace. It is the companion to River Landing's River Course, with its own routing through the planned community and surrounding eastern North Carolina landscape. The club presents both courses as 18-hole layouts, each with five sets of tees.

History: Clyde Johnston designed both courses as part of the River Landing development. The operator says the Landing Course was designed to showcase the community, while the River Course follows the Northeast Cape Fear River. Those descriptions identify the two routings without collapsing them into one 36-hole scorecard.

Did You Know? River Landing's two courses share an architect and address but not a routing. The Landing Course is the community-facing layout in the club's own description, while the River Course's defining feature is its river and marsh corridor.
