Overview: River Crest Country Club is a private Fort Worth parkland course whose narrow fairway corridors, protected greens and mature river-country landscape create a precise par-70 test. Published course references place the layout at about 6,300 yards, with Bermuda fairways, bentgrass greens and zoysia tees.
History: River Crest is one of Fort Worth’s oldest private golf clubs, with the course history beginning in the early 1910s. Tom Bendelow shaped the original work, with later architectural input associated with A.W. Tillinghast and the club’s continuing course improvements.
Did You Know? The course runs beside the Clear Fork of the Trinity River, giving an urban club a natural edge and a recurring landscape feature that influences the feel of several holes.
