Riomar Country Club

Overview: Riomar Country Club offers Vero Beach 18 holes with a par of 70 and approximately 6,008 yards. Herbert Strong's historic coastal layout sits close to the Atlantic and uses mature vegetation, wind and compact strategic holes to create a different test from inland Florida courses.

History: Riomar traces its origins to 1919, and Herbert Strong is credited with the early layout. Later clubhouse work changed the facilities, but local reporting says the original boundaries and much of the course character remained recognizable, preserving the connection to the club's early Vero Beach history.

Did You Know? The club's name and setting are not incidental: Riomar is an ocean-adjacent private course whose identity has been tied to the Atlantic edge for more than a century.
