Overview: Located in a quiet, wooded setting near Antwerp, Belgium, the North Course at Rinkven Golfclub is an 18-hole parkland course designed by Paul Rolin. Winding through a mature forest of pine and silver birch, the layout features flat, narrow fairways and small putting surfaces. The course demands accurate ball placement off the tee and disciplined approach play to navigate the tree-lined corridors and numerous lateral water hazards.
History: Opened in 1981, Rinkven was established to create a premier private sporting facility in the Antwerp region. The North Course was later refined by architect Russell Talley of Hawtree between 2014 and 2016, who updated the bunkers and greens to contemporary tournament standards while preserving its classic forest character.
Did You Know? The club is set within a protected green belt where native wildlife thrives. Players can frequently spot deer and rare forest birds alongside the quiet, tree-lined fairways, providing a peaceful wilderness feel throughout their round.
